About MKM STADIUM
MKM Stadium opened in 2002 as the KC Stadium, replacing Boothferry Park as Hull City's home ground and giving Hull FC a modern venue to share. It was designed by the Miller Partnership architects. The ground hosted Rugby League World Cup matches in 2013 and has seen Hull City reach the Premier League on multiple occasions. It was renamed the KCOM Stadium in 2016 following a sponsorship change, before taking on its current name, MKM Stadium, in 2021 after a partnership with Hull-based building materials supplier MKM Building Supplies. The stadium has been a focal point for sport in the East Riding ever since its opening.
